I was walking with my nana around my childhood home to view her garden. She showed me her newly planted flowers that hadn’t bloomed yet, the flowers that had reached full bloom, and even some that had withered away. I marveled at the beauty of this garden as I looked at the many stages of a plant’s life in one big open space around the yard that I used to play in as a child. This is why I have a new fascination and a love for gardens.

I now view life as a garden.

In my life, there are many things that God has planted that are either preparing to bloom or have already reached full bloom. However, there are a few things that have also died in my “garden.” The beautiful thing is that whatever is meant to leave my garden will wither on its on and what is supposed to bloom again, God will water and “fertilize” to help reignite what was once there. Once I began to view life as a garden, my perspective shifted to a more positive outlook. I now see that even hardships and losses are all apart of the growing cycle. It gives me hope and reminds me that God has a plan to prosper me and NOT to harm me.

With that being said, I wanted the revamping of my brand to reflect this concept. I wanted my readers to open my site and feel as if they have stepped into a garden. My brand is more than just a cute logo and an aesthetically pleasing website. I want to create a space that promotes wellness, healing and freedom. I want to introduce a platform that inspires, uplifts and welcomes people from all walks of life.

I want to create a digital garden - a garden that has something for everyone in many different stages of life. A garden of peace and serenity.

With this revamp, im praying that God moves in every area of this site and my brand. So, welcome to my garden. Enjoy!

xoxo,

Michaela
