Last night, Georgia State was graced with the presence of so many top dogs in the music industry! GSU's Spotlight Programs Board teamed up with Hustle Gang to bring an informative panel (headed by yours truly!) entitled Beyond the Mic: Music Panel. Students had a chance to hear from Clay Evans (VP of Grand Hustle), Jason Geter (Co-CEO of Grand Hustle), Chris Hicks (Former VP of Def Jam), Orlando McGee (CEO of Seventy 2 Music), Cannon Kent (Marketing and Promotions, Atlantic Records), Heroes x Villians (Producer), and DJ Speakerfoxx. The panelists dropped some serious information regarding the music industry and what it takes to make it in that field. Students were given the opportunity to network with these professionals and even to apply for internships. As you can see, GSU opens doors!
